Your Free Firework
Cheat Sheet

Thank you for subscribing to the Practicing Photography newsletter! I'm excited to have you here.

Fireworks photography is one of those things that looks much more difficult than it really is. Once you know a few simple camera settings and understand when to use them, you'll be surprised how easy it is to capture bright, colorful fireworks that fill the frame.

I've created this printable cheat sheet to take the guesswork out of your next fireworks show. Keep it in your camera bag, save it on your phone, or print it out before you head out for the evening. It includes the camera settings I recommend, along with a few practical tips that have helped me create some of my favorite fireworks images over the years.

Don't worry if your first few photos aren't perfect. Photography is a skill that improves with practice, and every time you pick up your camera you'll learn something new. That's exactly what Practicing Photography is all about—getting better one photo at a time.

I hope this guide helps you create fireworks photos you're proud to share. If it does, I'd love to see them! Just reply to one of my newsletters with your favorite image or tag me on social media.

Now, download your free Fireworks Photography Cheat Sheet below, and have a great time photographing the show!
